HOLE
1
PAR 4 - 336 YARDS
HOLE 1/10 INDEX 15/16
A short par 4 opening hole which requires an accurate tee shot through an avenue of mature trees. Once the fairway has been found a short iron to a generous green awaits. Beware of the bunker around 50 yards from the green if you’re a big hitter though!
HOLE
2
PAR 4 - 404 YARDS
HOLE 2/11 INDEX 3/4
A very challenging par 4 where an accurate tee shot is essential if you’re going to hit the green in two. The tee shot favours a draw but the longer the drive, the more the fairways narrows. The second shot is to a small green guarded by a bunker and set in a wood where you may well see a muntjac deer or two!
HOLE
3
PAR 4 - 380 YARDS
HOLE 3/12 INDEX 7/8
A new par 4 which requires a straight drive followed by an accurate iron shot to a new hourglass shaped green protected by the ditch in front of the green as well as a bunker. It will require two good shots to hit this green in regulation.
HOLE
4
PAR 3 - 150 YARDS
HOLE 4/13 INDEX 9/10
A new par 3 hole which looks short but plays 150 yards from the back tee and plays significantly uphill. Make sure to take enough club to reach, and check the flag to see where the hole is located on the two tier green and also note the wind direction. If you’re on the wrong level on the green you will need your best touch to two putt!.
HOLE
5
PAR 5 - 485 YARDS
HOLE 5/14 INDEX 11/12
This magnificent par 5 can be reached by big hitters in two but will need two very accuracy blows. The dogleg left hole plays over a ditch to the fairway and then requires a carry over the river to a bunker guarded green. In the woods to the right of the fairway you can sometimes spot our stunning white tailed deer if you’re lucky!
HOLE
6
PAR 4 - 300 YARDS
HOLE 6/15 INDEX 5/6
This short dogleg par 4 requires plenty of respect as anything other than a perfect drive will make the second shot very difficult. A well positioned tee shot of around 200 yards will leave a short iron into a very narrow hourglass shaped green. Make sure you get the distance right otherwise you’ll face a treacherous putt down the green!
HOLE
7
PAR 4 - 430 YARDS
HOLE 7/16 INDEX 1/2
This beast of a par 4 plays uphill and will take two of the very best shots to hit the green in two. The tee shot needs to carry over the river where often you will see several Herons waiting for their pray or even our resident Great White Egret hunting fish. The green slopes severely from back to front so distance control is essential. A par here has been earned!
HOLE
8
PAR 3 - 140 YARDS
HOLE 8/17 INDEX 17/18
This new par 3 hole plays uphill and will require a very accurate shot to hit the well guarded green. The small undulating green is particularly tricky to hit as the wind swirls through the avenue of trees. Anything short or off line will be swallowed up by the two deep bunkers guarding the green. The tall trees to the left of the green are rich foraging for both the greater spotted and the green woodpecker. You’ll hear them!
HOLE
9
PAR 4 - 322 YARDS
HOLE 9/18 INDEX 13/14
The uphill par 4 finishing hole doglegs gently to the right and leaves a short iron to a green which slopes from front to back. The conifers on the right will catch anything errant and can definitely ruin the best of cards! A family of foxes live to the left of the fairway and have been known to steal the occasional ball!
